Only a few days after the FIS Grand Prix, Wisla (POL) is again hosting an international ski jumping competition. Two Continental Cup competitions are taking place on the Adam-Malysz-hill this weekend.

On Friday evening the winning streak of the Prevc family continued there. After Peter won the first two COC's of the summer in Kranj and the GP in Wisla last Saturday, it was now Cene's turn to win.

The 18-year-old, who was second twice behind his big brother in Kranj, came in on top this time with the longest jump of the day on 132 m in the first round and 125.5 m in the final (278.0 points). This was his first win in the Continental Cup. "It was a great competition. I always try to do my best and I'm happy when I win. My brother won the Grand Prix here and now I won the Continental Cup, it started to be a family tradition to win in Wisla."

The second place went to local hero Piotr Zyla with jumps on 125 m and 127 m and a total of 269.3 points. "I'm happy because my shape is stable. Recently I was often second, which is a good place but I'd like to win", said the Pole, who wants to jump even better on Saturday. "My jumps were a bit worse than in the Grand Prix because I made technical mistakes. I will try to change that tomorrow."

With Miran Zupancic (126 m and 123.5 m; 261.6 points) in third another jumper of Slovenia stood on the podium. At the end he was happy about his performance and the competition. "The weather was good and the competition was perfect."

Jakub Wolny, Dawid Kubacki and Jan Ziobro, who showed the best performance in the final round and moved up from 15th, finished on the place four to six and provided a great team result for the Polish team on their home hill.

The best German, Daniel Wenig, followed in seventh, close ahead of the Patrick Streitler, the best of the Austrian team in this competition. Junshiro Kobayashi in ninth and Mitja Meznar (10th) completed the Top 10.

With his clear win in Wisla, Cene Prevc now also took the lead in the overall ranking of the COC with 260 points. Peter Prevc follows in second now with 200 points, Miran Zupancic is third (165 points).
