Thomas Morgenstern is not getting bored during the time without ski jumping. He now used a flying lesson with the helicopter to visit the Fischer Sports company in Ried (AUT).
The Austrian, who already has the private pilot licenses for aircraft and helicopter and is currently getting his commercial pilot license for helicopter, flew with an accompanying pilot in one hour from Graz to Ried. "The flight was pretty turbulent and sometimes he had we heavy headwinds", Morgenstern told.
Of course the staff at Fischer was very happy about the unexpected visit: "It was something special! A world class ski jumper is not visiting us every day and lands with the helicopter right in front of the company."
