Everything on track in the RusSki Gorki Ski Jumping Center - FIS
On Thursday things will get serious for the ski jumpers at the Olympic Games in Sochi 2014 with the first official training at 8:30 pm local time (5:30 pm CET).
About three days before the start, the facility in the RusSki Gorki Ski Jumping Center is almost ready.
"Right now there's enough snow for both hills. In the last two nights it was cold enough to produce artificial snow. The final phase of the preparation of the landing area on the normal hill was started today. There are about 3000 cubic meter snow in the outrun", said Marko Mlakar (SLO), who will be a member of the jury as assistant technical delegate in all ski jumping events in Sochi.
The trial jumpers will test the hill already on Wednesday, so everything goes according to plan.
