Diethart can be youngest Four Hills winner
in 15 years
>>
Thomas Diethart (AUT) leads the Four Hills tournament
standings with one hill remaining.
>>
At 21 years and 315 days on Monday, Diethart
can be the youngest winner of the tournament since
Janne Ahonen (FIN) won the first of his five titles
at age 21 years and 240 days in 1999.
>>
Diethart would be the youngest Austrian to win since
Ernst Vettori in 1986 and the sixth youngest Austrian
overall to win the tournament.
Ammann can join Nykanen as only men with
all 5 major titles
>>
Simon Ammann (SUI) is in second place in
the tournament standings and is seeking to win the
Four Hills for the first time.
>>
The Four Hills tournament is the only major individual
ski jumping trophy that Ammann hasn't already won.
>>
Ammann has won Olympic gold (four times), world
championship gold (2007), ski flying world championship
gold (2010) and the World Cup overall title (2010).
>>
If Ammann adds the Four Hills to the list, he will
join Matti Nykanen (FIN) as the only men to have
won all five major individual ski jumping trophies.
>>
Apart from Ammann, six other jumpers have claimed
four of the five titles. This includes two active
jumpers, Gregor Schlierenzauer (AUT) and Thomas
Morgenstern (AUT), who can both complete the set
this year. Schlierenzauer will have his chance at
the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games, while Morgenstern
must wait until the ski flying World Championships
in Harrachov in March.

Morgenstern can equal
Nykanen with 5th top-3 finish in Four Hills
>>
Thomas Morgernstern is in third place in the Four
Hills standings.
>>
Morgenstern has made the top three in the overall
standings in four different seasons (2011 - 1st;
2008 and 2012 - 2nd; 2005 - 3rd).
>>
If he makes it a fifth top-three finish in the Four
Hills, he will equal Nykanen for fourth place on
the all-time list.
>>
Only Ahonen (10), Jens Wei?flog (GDR/GER, 9) and
Bjorn Wirkola (NOR, 6) will have had more top three
finishes in the Four Hills tournament than Morgenstern
if the Austrian holds his podium place.
>>
Morgenstern has two victories and five podiums in
Four Hills events in Bischofshofen. He can equal
the record of three wins in Bischofshofen, held
by Ahonen, Wirkola, Wei?flog and Jiri Raska (TCH).
>>
Morgenstern can also join Wirkola and Raska on six
podiums in Bischofshofen. Only Ahonen (10) has more
than six.
