Tomaz Naglic won the title at the Slovenian Championships
on the large hill on Sunday in Planica ahead of
Matic Kramarsic and Jurij Tepes.
In a close and exciting competition, Tomaz Naglic
posted jumps on 138 m and 135.5 m and won the Championships
with his total of 274.8 points.
Only 0.4 points behind the winner, Matic Kramarsic
came in second with 139 m and 134 m. With 139 m
and 133.5 m and a total of 272.5 points, the third
place went to Jurij Tepes, who won the title on
this hill last year.
Ski flying World Champion Robert Kranjec showed
the longest jump of the day with 140 m in the first
round, but with 131.5 m in the final he missed the
podium and came in fourth.
Peter Prevc, who won the Slovenian Championships
on the normal hill last weekend in Kranj, could
not follow up on this performance today and finished
17th.
The ladies' competition was won by Katja Pozun with
131 m and 129.5 m (245.4 points), followed by Maja
Vtic (133 m and 128 m; 238.3 points) and Spela Rogelj
(129.5 m and 126.5 m; 237.8 points).
